KICKER SPRING BSA 650
Kickstart return spring for BSA A50/A65 500 and 650cc twins.
This is the kickstart return spring for BSA A50 and A65 twins, the 500 and 650cc models sold under names like Lightning, Thunderbolt, Royal Star, Wasp, Hornet, Firebird, and Spitfire. It's a BSA part, not a Triumph part, even though it turns up in our records under a Triumph-style number.

The spring lives inside the kickstart mechanism and does the job every return spring does: it snaps the kickstart lever back up to its resting position after you've used it to fire the motor. Without it working right, the lever will hang down or fail to return properly after each kick.
The catalog also lists this under the alternate reference KSP6, and it's the same physical part. We don't have extensive fitment notes on file beyond the BSA A50/A65 twins, so if you're not sure this matches what's on your bike, give us a call and we'll sort it out before you order.
Sorry if we got something wrong here. If you think this information isn't correct, .
