BSA K/S QUADRANT A65 OIF
Kickstart quadrant for the BSA A65 OIF, part of the gearchange mechanism behind the inner timing cover.
This is the kickstart quadrant for the BSA A65, the toothed segment that the kickstart lever spindle drives when you swing the pedal through its arc. It lives inside the timing cover area, working alongside the gearchange mechanism to translate the kick down into rotation that turns the engine over.

The catalog lists this as an OIF-era A65 part, which matches the figure title it appears under: INNER TIMING COVER — GEARCHANGE MECHANISM. It also shows up under the older I208G reference if that's the number printed in your book.
This is a BSA component, not a Triumph one, so don't cross it with Triumph kickstart parts even though it sits in a similar spot on the engine. If you're not certain your A65 is the OIF version this quadrant is cataloged for, give the shop a call before you order.
