BSA Gasket, oil pump body to crankcase
Gasket that seals the oil pump body to the crankcase, per the parts-book oil pump figure.
This is a gasket that seats between the oil pump body and the crankcase, sealing that joint so oil stays where it belongs and pressure doesn't bleed off at the mounting face. It shows up in the parts books under the OIL PUMP figure, and also gets referenced alongside the GEARBOX SPROCKET figure since the two areas sit close together on the case.

Our catalog record only ties this one to appearances from 1969 to 1970, so treat that as the window our records show rather than a hard boundary. If you're rebuilding the oil pump or pulling it for inspection, this is the gasket you want on hand — it's a cheap and easy thing to replace while everything's apart rather than reusing an old one.
The part also appears under 68-939, which is just the same number without the leading zero — not a different part. If you're not sure your pump body matches what this gasket is meant for, bring in the numbers off your case or give the shop a call before you order.
