BSA Inlet rocker (left-hand)
Left-hand inlet rocker arm for the cylinder head valve gear, catalog PN 68-0147.
This is an inlet rocker arm, left-hand side, from the cylinder head rocker assembly. It's part of the valve gear that transfers motion from the pushrod to the inlet valve, and it lives up top under the rocker box covers. The catalog places it in the cylinder head and rocker figures, with appearances running 1969 through 1972.

The left-hand designation matters here — rocker arms for inlet and exhaust, and for each side of the head, aren't all interchangeable, so make sure you're ordering for the correct position before you pull the trigger. The catalog title we see elsewhere confirms this arm as an A65-family part, so if you're working on a BSA A65-series engine this is likely the rocker you're after, though we'd still want you to check it against your own head before ordering.
If you're pulling rockers for inspection, look for wear at the pad where it contacts the valve stem and at the pushrod cup, and check the shaft bore for scoring. Give us a call if you're not sure which position you're replacing.
