TOP COVER 2 FERRULES
Amal carburetter top cover with two cable ferrules, from the 1969-1970 parts book listings.
622/098 is an Amal top cover for the carburetter, the piece that caps off the top of the slide chamber and carries the two ferrules where the throttle and (on some setups) choke cables pass through. It shows up in the carburetter section of the parts books for 1969-1970, so it's from that generation of Amal instrument fitted during those years.

The cover is what keeps the slide assembly enclosed at the top of the body and gives the cables a clean, sealed entry point through the ferrules rather than an open hole. If yours has cracked, stripped threads, or a ferrule that's worn oval from years of cable movement, this is the part that gets replaced rather than repaired.
We don't have more detail on this one beyond what the catalog shows. Give us a call with your carb's other numbers if you want to make sure this is the right top cover before you order.
