CARB SLIDE #3 HARD ANODIZED - 600 MK1
Hard anodized #3 cutaway slide for the Amal 600 Mk1 carburetor.
This is the carburetor slide for the Amal 600 Mk1 carb, cut to the #3 profile and hard anodized. The slide is the piece that rides up and down inside the carb body when you roll the throttle, controlling how much air gets pulled through - it's one of the parts most prone to wear since it's in constant sliding contact with the bore.

The hard anodized finish is meant to hold up better against that wear than a bare slide would, which matters since a worn slide will let air leak past and throw off your mixture no matter how well the rest of the carb is set up. The #3 designation refers to the cutaway profile on this particular slide, which is one of the tuning variables Amal carbs use to shape throttle response off idle.
