This is the upper throttle cable that runs from the twist-grip down to the junction block on high-bar T140 models, part number 60-7149, also cataloged under the older MC-494 designation. It's the run of cable a rider actually pulls on, connecting the throttle grip to the junction where the cable splits off to feed the twin carburetors below.
