Junction box throttle and air control
A cable junction box that splits one throttle or choke cable into two, for twin-carb Triumph setups.
This is the junction box that splits a single throttle (or choke) cable into two, feeding both carburetors on twin-carb setups. It sits inline in the control cable run, up near the handlebars or along the frame top tube, and lets one twistgrip pull cable move two slides in unison. The catalog lists it under Control Cables and Control Cables and T120R Twistgrip figures, so it's tied into the throttle and air control linkage rather than the clutch or brake side.

Older parts books show this part under the D685 number before Triumph moved to the 60-0685 numbering, and it's been carried in catalog listings from 1968 all the way through 1985, so it's a long-lived design that shows up across a good stretch of Triumph production paperwork. It was later superseded by 244/104, so if you're chasing this part under a newer parts list, that's the number to look for.
These junction boxes take some abuse from vibration and cable strain over the years, so if the one on the bike is cracked or the cable ends are chewed up inside it, it's worth swapping out rather than trying to nurse it along.
