This is a clutch cable for the pre-unit Triumph 650 twins, listed in the catalog as fitting the 1960-62 model years. It runs from the clutch lever at the handlebar down to the clutch operating arm at the gearbox, giving you the pull that disengages the clutch when you squeeze the lever in.

The catalog number is 60-0434, and it also shows up under the alternate reference MC-799/4. If you're working from an older parts book or a cross-reference list, that's the same cable.
We don't have a lot of extra detail on file beyond the catalog listing itself, so if your bike falls outside that 1960-62 window or you've got different bars, give us a call and we'll confirm fitment before you order.
