The catalog notes call for 6 of these on unit-construction clutches and 5 on pre-unit clutches, so check your own parts book or count what came out of your clutch before ordering the right quantity. This number has a long paper trail behind it — it replaces a string of older factory numbers including 42-3192, 42-3262, 42-4763, 43-3192, 57-0414, 57-1362, 57-4762, 57-7058, and 68-3267, so if any of those are what's printed in your book, this is the same physical part. It's also been carried forward again under 57-1362T and shows up under the alias 88-57400 in some listings.
Our own records don't have much more detail on this one beyond the description itself, so if you're not sure whether your clutch is unit or pre-unit, give us a call and we'll help confirm before you order.
Sorry if we got something wrong here. If you think this information isn't correct, .
