PILOT BULB HOLDER RUBBER MOUNT WITH GROUND WIRE

Rubber-mounted Lucas pilot bulb holder with a built-in ground wire, used for panel and instrument lighting.

PN · 554710
Supersedes 99-0695 — earlier factory number for this part.
Superseded by 54573590.

This is the rubber mount bulb holder for a pilot or panel light, with a ground wire built in. Lucas made these to hold the small bulb that lights the speedo, tach, or nacelle pilot lamp, and the rubber body isolates the holder while the attached ground wire completes the circuit back to the bike's earth. It shows up in the catalog under headlamp/nacelle, wiring harness and switch, and instrument figures, so it's a part that gets used in more than one lighting position depending on the model.

The part number 554710 replaced the older 99-0695 listing for the same holder, and it was later superseded by 54573590 - so if you're chasing this by an older or newer parts book number, all three point at the same physical piece. It also carries the alternate form WW13121 in some catalogs.

If you're replacing one of these, check that the ground wire connection matches what your loom expects at that socket - the rubber mount holders are simple but the wiring end can vary by application, and we don't have specifics on that here.
