H.T. lead complete (resistive)
Resistive-type H.T. lead assembly that runs from the ignition coil to the spark plug, part number 54937976.
This is the H.T. lead complete, listed as a resistive type, from the ignition electrics side of the bike. It carries the high tension current from the coil down to the spark plug cap, and being the resistive style, it's built to cut down on ignition noise rather than being a plain solid-core wire. In the catalog it shows up right alongside the D.C. ignition coils, the horn, and the rectifier/zener diode setup, so it lives in that cluster of parts under the tank or behind the side cover where the coil and electrics are mounted.

This one appears across catalog entries running from 1966 into 1969, and it also turns up in a listing tied to the T100C headlamp and ignition capacitor. If your machine falls outside that catalog window, give us a call and we'll check the number against your parts book before you order.
H.T. leads take heat and vibration over the years and the insulation can crack or the end fittings can corrode, so if yours is original it's worth a look even if it hasn't failed yet.
