Throttle return spring
The return spring inside the Amal carburetor that pulls the throttle slide closed.
389/061 is the throttle return spring that lives inside the Amal carburetor body on the slide, the spring that pulls the throttle slide back down and closes the throttle when you let off the twist grip. It's a small but important part - without it, or with a weak or broken one, the throttle can hang open or return sluggishly, which is not something you want on a running bike.

This one shows up in the parts book under the AMAL CARBURETTER figure for the TR6, from the mid-1960s catalog listings. If you're rebuilding a slide and body from that era, it's worth checking this spring against the rest of your carb kit while you've got things apart.
It's a cheap part to keep on the shelf if you're doing carb work regularly, since a tired return spring is an easy thing to overlook during a rebuild and an easy thing to fix while everything's already in pieces.
