BSA Washer, footrest to stud, left-hand (7/16" × 7/8" × 1/16")
A flat washer (7/16" x 7/8" x 1/16") fitted between the left-hand footrest and its mounting stud.
This is a flat washer that sits between the footrest and the mounting stud on the left-hand side of the bike. The catalog lists it under the FOOTRESTS AND BRAKE LINKAGE, FRAME/FOOTRESTS/BATTERY CARRIER, and FOLDING FOOTRESTS/CRANKCASE SHIELD figures, so it's doing its job at the footrest mounting point rather than anywhere in the electrics despite how it's filed in our system.

Going by the dimensions in the parts book, it measures 7/16" bore by 7/8" outside diameter by 1/16" thick, sized to fit over the footrest stud and spread the load where the footrest bracket clamps down.
It's a small, simple part, but if you're missing one your footrest can work loose or sit at the wrong angle against the frame. Worth having a couple on hand when you're pulling the footrests off for service.
