This is a Lucas ammeter reading 12-0-12, a 1.75 inch gauge that shows charge and discharge on the electrical system. Mount it on the headlamp shell or instrument panel wherever the wiring loom has it wired in, and it gives a quick visual on whether the generator or alternator is putting current back into the battery or the bike is pulling more than it's making.
