Bonded bush (64533645)
Bonded rubber bush for the rear shock absorber eye, also cataloged as Girling number 64533645.
This is the bonded rubber bush that sits in the eye of the rear shock absorber, where the shock mounts to the swinging fork or the frame lug. It's a bonded assembly, meaning the rubber is molded to the metal sleeve rather than a separate rubber doughnut and washers, so it goes in and out as one piece. Over time this rubber perishes and goes soft or splits, which shows up as extra clunk and movement at the rear suspension mounts.

The catalog also lists this part under the number 64533645, which is the Girling factory number for the same bush - if your parts book or an old invoice shows that number instead of 99-0122, it's the identical piece. It shows up across the swinging fork and suspension unit figures in our records spanning years into the mid-to-late '70s.
These wear in pairs at each shock eye, top and bottom, so if you're replacing one on a shock that's been in service a long time it's worth checking the others while you have things apart. Call the shop if you're not sure how many your bike uses front-to-back on the rear units.
