NUT STEERING DAMPER ROD
Nut for the steering damper rod at the top of the steering head.

This is the nut that fits on the steering damper rod, the threaded rod that runs down through the middle of the steering head on Triumphs fitted with a friction-type steering damper. The rod passes down through the top of the headstock and this nut is what you turn to snug the friction plates together, giving you adjustable resistance in the steering.
