BSA Top yoke complete — with steering lock
Complete front fork top yoke with steering lock, listed in front fork parts books for 1971–1972.
This is the top yoke assembly for the front forks, and it comes complete with the steering lock built in. The top yoke is the plate that ties the two fork legs together up top and carries the steering stem through the frame's headstock — it's what the handlebars and top of the forks bolt to, and what lets the whole front end pivot for steering.

The catalog lists this as a complete unit rather than a bare casting, so what you get includes the steering lock hardware already fitted, not just the yoke on its own. It shows up in the front fork section of the parts books for 1971 through 1972.
The manufacturer code on this one points to BSA, but be aware these companies shared a lot of running gear during this era, so if you're cross-shopping against a Triumph parts book don't assume the number lines up straight across. Check the casting and lock detail against what's actually on your bike before ordering, and give us a call if you're not sure it's the right one.
