Grip, right hand

Right-hand rubber handlebar grip for the throttle side, Triumph part 97-2125.

PN · 97-2125
Supersedes 97-2142 — earlier factory number for this part.
Current factory number 06-7093 — same part, sold under this listing.

This is the right-hand handlebar grip, the one that sits under your throttle hand and gets pushed onto the twistgrip sleeve. It shows up across a long run of catalog appearances for Triumph handlebar and control lever setups, so it's a part that stuck around in the parts books for years without much change. The older number for this same grip is 97-2142, and later on the factory moved it to a new number, 06-7093, so if you're chasing this part with an older or newer parts book you may see it listed under either.

Because it's the throttle-side grip, the inside diameter is sized differently than the left-hand grip to clear the twistgrip barrel, so don't try to swap it side to side. If you're replacing grips as a pair, get the left-hand equivalent too rather than assuming they're identical.

We see this cross-referenced under the H2125 form in some older listings, which is just the pre-renumbering alias for the same physical part. Call ahead if you want us to confirm which of the two current forms (97-2125 or 06-7093) is what's actually in stock.
