Right top cover
Right-side headlamp mounting cover (ear) for the front fork top, TR6 and T120 twins.
97-1887 is the right-side headlamp mounting cover, sometimes called the headlamp ear, from the front fork assembly. It sits at the top of the fork leg where the headlamp bracket bolts on, dressing up the mounting point and giving the fork top a finished look. The catalog lists this under the legacy number H1887 as well, so if you're working from an older parts book you may see it referenced that way.

On the bike it works as one of a pair with its left-side counterpart, closing off the fork top area around the headlamp bracket bolt. It shows up in the fork parts diagrams alongside the fork top nuts and headlamp mounting hardware for TR6 and T120 twins.
If you're replacing one side, worth checking the condition of the other cover too since they tend to age and get scuffed up together over the years. Give us a call if you're not sure which side you need or want to confirm it matches what's currently on your fork.
