Plain washer
A plain washer used at the steering damper knob and other front-end fastener points on several Triumph twins.
This is a plain washer that shows up in the front fork and steering damper areas across several Triumph twins, most notably under the steering damper knob. It's the kind of small hardware piece that's easy to lose track of when a fork is apart on the bench, but it does its job quietly, spacing and seating the knob assembly so things tighten down properly.

The part also turns up under its older H565 designation in earlier catalog listings, so if you're working from a vintage parts book and see that number, it's the same washer. It appears across telescopic fork figures for the 6T, TR6, T120, and the T100C/T100R U.S.A. fork listings, as well as in handlebar and nacelle headlamp figure groupings, which tells you it's a general-purpose washer used in more than one spot rather than a single dedicated application.
Because it's a small, inexpensive item, it's worth keeping a couple on hand when you're servicing the steering damper or front end so you're not caught short mid-job.
