THROTTLE NEEDLE 900 Z - Alcohol
Amal 900 Z throttle needle, part 928/099, for alcohol-fuel carburetor tuning.
Part number 928/099 is an Amal throttle needle, catalog code 900 Z, made up for alcohol fuel use rather than standard petrol. The needle sits down inside the carburetor slide and works with the needle jet to meter fuel through the mid and upper throttle range, so getting the right needle profile matters for how the engine pulls as the throttle comes open.
