Outlet stub, feed hose
Outlet stub on the rear brake reservoir where the feed hose connects, from 1976-1978 catalog listings.
The 83-7055 is an outlet stub for the rear brake master cylinder reservoir, the fitting the feed hose connects to so fluid can travel down to the caliper. It's a small part but it's the connection point that keeps the hydraulic circuit sealed at the reservoir, so any weeping or seepage here usually traces back to this stub or its sealing surface rather than the hose itself.

This one shows up in the rear brake section of the parts books, in catalog listings running from 1976 into 1978. If you're chasing down a rear brake fluid leak on a bike from that era, this is worth checking along with the hose and its clips.
We don't have a lot more detail on this one beyond where it sits in the rear brake assembly. If you're not sure this is the exact stub your reservoir uses, give us a call before ordering.
Sorry if we got something wrong here. If you think this information isn't correct, .
