SLEEVE NUT, T140 TAIL LIGHT - OEM 10-32 (For use with Emgo T/L Chase thread to 5mmx0.8)
Sleeve nut for the T140 tail lamp mount, OEM 10-32 thread, chase-able to 5mm x 0.8 for Emgo tail lamp fitment.
This is the sleeve nut that secures the tail lamp on T140-family Triumphs, part number 83-4800, also listed under the older F14800 designation. It shows up in the parts book under Tail Lamp and Support figures, so it's a small hardware piece that clamps the lens/lamp assembly to its mount rather than anything structural to the fender itself.

The factory thread on this one is 10-32. Ed keeps a note on the counter about this: if you're running an Emgo replacement tail lamp lens or aftermarket unit, you may need to chase the thread out to 5mm x 0.8 to get it to seat right, since some of those repro parts come through on metric threading instead of the OEM UNF spec.
It's a cheap piece of hardware to have on hand when you're servicing the tail lamp mount, and worth checking against whatever lens or bracket you're bolting up before you assume it'll thread straight in.
