BSA Anti-roll pad, petrol tank
Rubber anti-roll pad that sits between the petrol tank and frame to stop the tank rocking side to side.
This is the anti-roll pad for the petrol tank, part number 82-9730. It's a small rubber piece that sits between the tank and the frame's top tube to keep the tank from shifting side to side under the strap or mounting bolts. Nothing complicated about it, but a tank that's allowed to rock around will chip its paint and eventually crack a mounting ear, so this little pad earns its place.
