SKID PLATE,BSA 250/441
Skid plate (undershield) for BSA 250/441 single engines, protects the crankcase underneath.
This is a skid plate for the BSA 250 and 441 singles, not a Triumph part despite how it's filed in some of our records. It bolts under the engine to protect the crankcase from rocks, ruts, and whatever else comes up off the trail on off-road and enduro-style singles.

Catalog listings also refer to it as an undershield for the 250 and 441 engine, which is the same piece under a different name. If you're restoring or riding a BSA single in that displacement range, this is the guard that keeps the bottom of the motor from taking a direct hit.
We don't have much more history on file for this one beyond the basic listing, so if you've got questions about exact engine variant fitment, give us a call before you order.
Sorry if we got something wrong here. If you think this information isn't correct, .
