BRK ROD ADJ 26TPI 4 WING - NO LONGER AVAILABLE USE 82-6070 2 WING CEI ADJUSTER
4-wing brake rod adjuster nut, 26 TPI, for the rear brake rod — discontinued, replaced by 82-6070 2-wing CEI adjuster.
This is the 4-wing brake rod adjuster nut, 26 TPI, that shows up in the swinging fork and rear suspension unit sections of the parts books for mid-60s Triumphs. It's the wing nut that sits on the rear brake rod and lets you dial in adjustment on the rear drum brake linkage by hand, no tools needed.

This part is no longer stocked new under 82-4585. The factory-listed replacement is 82-6070, a 2-wing CEI adjuster that does the same job on the brake rod. If your bike came with the 4-wing style, the 2-wing 82-6070 is the one to order now.
Also shows up under the older F4585 number if you're working from an early book.
