These are the tank knee pads for pre-unit Triumphs, the screw-type version made by Emgo. They mount to the sides of the fuel tank where the rider's knees grip while riding, and they come as a pair, sold under the number 82-2551/52T (also cross-referenced as 43-06732).

Being the screw-on style, these pads don't just stick to the tank with adhesive - they need small slots cut into them so the mounting screws can pass through. Plan on doing that fitting work yourself with a hobby knife before you bolt them on.
