Drain plug
Drain plug for the oil tank, catalog number 82-1792 (formerly F1792).
This is the drain plug that lives in the oil tank, listed in the parts books under the OIL TANKS figure. Its job is straightforward: it plugs the drain point at the bottom of the tank so you can pull it to empty the oil for a service or a tank swap, then thread it back in to seal things up.

The catalog shows this part carrying the earlier F1792 designation before it was renumbered to 82-1792, so if you're working from an older parts book and see F1792 called out, that's the same plug.
