Kickstarter pedal
Kickstarter pedal for the gearbox outer cover, used to start the engine by hand.
This is the kickstarter pedal that bolts onto the kickstart shaft coming out of the gearbox outer cover. It's the lever you fold down and stomp to swing the engine over and get it running before you fold it back up out of the way.

Our catalog record has this one showing up in the gearbox outer cover and lever figures across model years spanning 1966 to 1970, so it belongs to that era of gearbox. The listing itself is short on detail beyond that, so before you order, check it against the shaft and cover you've actually got on the bench.
The manufacturer tag on this part number points to Lucas, but Lucas made electrics, not kickstart levers, so that tag doesn't line up with what this part actually is. Treat it as a gearbox mechanical part, not an electrical one.
