PRIMARY GASKET, TRIUMPH 650/750 THICK .060
Thick .060 in. primary chaincase gasket for Triumph 650/750 twins, part 71-7009A (formerly 57-1770T).
This is the primary chaincase gasket for Triumph 650 and 750 twins, made in the thick .060 in. version. It seals the joint between the primary chaincase and the engine/gearbox castings, keeping the oil bath in the primary drive where it belongs instead of weeping out around the case edges.

The .060 thickness is worth noting because primary gaskets on these bikes came in more than one thickness over the years, and picking the wrong one can throw off chain alignment or leave you chasing a leak that's really a fit issue. This one also carries the older 57-1770T reference, so if your parts book lists that number, it's the same gasket under the current part number 71-7009A.
We don't have more catalog detail on this one beyond the description itself, but it's a straightforward gasket swap any time you're in the primary case for a clutch job, chain adjustment, or general inspection. Have your primary cover off and the mating surfaces clean before fitting a new one.
