FRONT BRAKE CABLE WASHER
Small washer for the front conical hub brake cable linkage, locates the cable stop bushing on the brake plate.
This is the small washer used in the front brake cable linkage on the conical hub front brake setup. It works alongside the cable stop bushing on the brake plate, helping keep that stop bushing seated and properly located where the cable enters the lever. The catalog shows two required per bike, so if you're replacing one it's worth having a pair on hand.

The part carries the modern number 71-2500, also seen under its earlier factory number 67-0645 and the alternate form E12500 in some parts books. It shows up in the control cables section of the parts catalog for the conical hub brake linkage.
It's a simple, inexpensive item, but if it's missing or worn the cable stop can shift out of position, so it's worth checking during any brake linkage work.
