Gasket – cylinder head
This is the cylinder head gasket, part number 71-1733, listed in the catalog under the older E11733 form as well. It sits between the cylinder head and the cylinder barrel, sealing the combustion chambers so compression stays where it belongs and oil and gas don't leak out between the two castings.

It shows up in the parts book under the cylinder barrel, push rods, tappet blocks figure as well as the cylinder block, pistons, and crankshaft figure, which tells you it's a job that touches both the top end and the lower assembly when you're in there. The catalog appearances run from 1970 through 1974, but we'd want to confirm the exact fitment against your engine before ordering rather than guess off the year range alone.
A head gasket like this is a one-time-use item — once it's been compressed and heated through a running cycle it doesn't reseal properly if you pull the head back off. Worth having a fresh one on hand any time the head comes off for valve work or a bore job.
