GASKET,TRIDENT SUMP
Sump gasket for the Triumph Trident 750cc triple, sealing the crankcase-to-sump joint.
This is the sump gasket for the Triumph Trident, the 750cc triple, sealing the joint between the crankcase and the sump plate where the oil collects before being picked up and sent back through the system. Our records list it under the legacy number 40T as well as 71-1444, so if your parts book still shows the old letter-prefix code, this is the same physical gasket.

It is a simple, low-cost item but it does the important job of keeping oil where it belongs rather than weeping out around the sump joint. Given how thin these are and how often they get disturbed during routine sump-plate cleaning, it is worth keeping a spare on hand.
We don't have a lot of extra catalog detail on this one beyond the description and the old part number, so if you have any doubt about which triple your bike is, give us a call and we'll help confirm before you order.
