Inlet camshaft nut
Inlet camshaft nut that also drives the oil pump on Triumph unit-construction twins.
This is the nut that secures the inlet camshaft and doubles as the drive for the oil pump on Triumph unit-construction twins. It lives down in the crankcase area, shown in the parts book under the crankshaft and camshaft figures, and it's a small part that does two jobs at once - hold the camshaft gear in place and turn the oil pump.

The legacy number for this one is E11007, same part as 71-1007 in the modern numbering. Given that it also drives the oil pump, this isn't a nut to grab out of a generic hardware bin - it has a specific thread and a specific job, so match it against your parts book before ordering.
We don't have detailed spec notes on file beyond what the catalog calls it. Give us a call if you want to confirm fitment for your particular engine before you order.
