CAM BUSH L/H INLET USA
Left-hand inlet camshaft bush, USA-spec, for the timing chest.
This is the camshaft bush for the left-hand inlet position, catalog number 71-0287A, also seen in older records as 71-0287. A cam bush is what the camshaft actually rides in inside the timing chest — it's the bearing surface that keeps the cam journal running true instead of wallowing out the crankcase or timing cover casting itself.

Our records show this one tagged for USA-spec fitment, and it sits on the inlet side, left hand. Beyond that we don't have much more detail on file for this particular listing, so if you're matching up a rebuild, bring in the old bush or the engine number and we'll get you sorted with the right one.
Worn cam bushes are a common culprit behind sloppy cam timing and premature wear on the cam lobes themselves, so it's worth checking condition any time the timing chest is open.
