CARB FLANGE O-RING THICK
Thick-style Amal Concentric carb flange O-ring, PN 70-9711, seals the carb-to-manifold joint on several Triumph twin figures.
This is the thick carb flange O-ring, part number 70-9711, also listed under the older E9711 form. It seats between the carburetor body and the intake manifold flange on Amal Concentric carbs, sealing that joint so the engine doesn't pull unmetered air past the mounting face. Catalog appearances put it on Amal Concentric setups across the TR7RV, T140V, TR6R, TR6C, and T120R figures, spanning catalog years 1970 to 1980.

The "thick" designation matters here — there's a thin version of this O-ring used on some Concentric carbs, and the two aren't interchangeable, so check which flange profile your carb actually has before ordering.
It's a simple, cheap-to-replace wear item, but a leaking or perished one will cause a lean mixture and hard starting that can be tricky to chase down if you're not looking at the flange seal first. Worth having a spare on the shelf if you're doing carb work.
