Inlet tappet guide block

Inlet-side tappet guide block that presses into the cylinder block to hold and align the cam follower, PN 70-9352.

Available in 3 versions:

This is the inlet tappet guide block, part number 70-9352, older parts books show it as E9352. It's the piece that gets pressed into the cylinder block on the inlet side and holds the tappet, or cam follower, in position so it can ride on the camshaft lobe and pass motion up to the pushrod. Keeping that tappet aligned matters because the pushrod end needs to seat properly against the radiused tip of the tappet stem, and a worn or loose guide block lets things wander out of line.

It shows up in the parts books under Manifold and Tappets, Cylinder Block and Head, and the oil pump and release valve figures, which tells you this is right in the middle of the top end where the tappets, pushrods, and cylinder block all come together. The catalog listings span the model years from 1969 through 1979, and it appears across several different cylinder block and head figures including the T90 and T100C/T100R variants, so this guide block has covered a fair bit of the unit-engine lineup over the years.

If you're replacing tappet guide blocks it's worth checking the bore condition and the fit of the tappet itself while you're in there, since a sloppy guide block is often found alongside a worn tappet or a chattering top end.
