SEALING WASHER,PETCOCK .500 inches - 12.7mm ID (.880 in OD)
A bonded sealing washer, .500 in ID / .880 in OD, used under petcocks and other threaded tank fittings on Triumph motorcycles.
This is the sealing washer that goes under a petcock (fuel tap) where it threads into the gas tank, and it also turns up under other threaded fittings on the tank and instrument mounts. It's .500 inches (12.7mm) ID with an .880 inch OD, a bonded-type washer with a rubber sealing face bonded to a metal body, sometimes called a Dowty or Stat-O-Seal washer. It supersedes the older factory number 70-6961, and you'll also see it listed as 43-67189 or E7351 in older paperwork.

The catalog shows this washer showing up across a wide range of gas tank and twinseat figures, as well as speedometer and tachometer drawings, which tells you it's used anywhere a threaded fitting needs a sealed joint against the tank or a gauge housing. It's a small, cheap item to have on hand, and worth checking any time you pull a petcock for cleaning or replacement since the old one is often flattened or cracked from years of heat and fuel exposure.
Given how many figures this part appears in across nearly two decades of catalog listings, it's clearly a standard fitting-level part rather than something specific to one model. If you're not sure which fitting on your bike takes this washer, bring the old one to the counter and we'll match it up.
