Red O-ring for the pushrod tube on the cylinder block/head, also usable on unit rocker caps in place of the fiber washers.

PN · 70-7310
Supersedes 60-3616 — earlier factory number for this part.

This is the red O-ring used at the pushrod tube in the cylinder block and head, part number 70-7310, which replaced the earlier factory number 60-3616. The catalog description also notes it can be used on unit rocker caps in place of the fiber washers, so it does double duty as a sealing ring in two spots up top on the engine.

It shows up across a long run of cylinder block and head figures in our records, including TR6, TR6R, TR6C, T90, T100R, and T140V/TR7RV listings, so it's a part that stuck around in the parts books for a good while under this number. Because it's a small sealing item that lives in more than one figure and across different model listings, it's worth having a couple on hand when you're doing head or rocker box work.

If your parts book still shows E7310, that's the same O-ring under its old-style prefix - just look for 70-7310 when you order.
