BASE GASKET - 3CYL
Cylinder base gasket for the Triumph/BSA three-cylinder engine, seals the joint between block and crankcase.
This is the cylinder base gasket for the three-cylinder Triumph and BSA triples - it seats between the cylinder block and the crankcase, sealing that joint so oil stays where it belongs and compression doesn't leak past the base of the barrels. The old letter-code alias 27T is the pre-modern-numbering form of the same part, so if your parts book or an old box in the garage shows 27T, that's this gasket.

Our records don't have much catalog history logged for this one beyond the base part number itself, but the figure title on file confirms it's cataloged specifically for the triples engine, not the twins. Given how thin and one-time-use these gaskets tend to be, it's worth having a fresh one on hand any time the barrels come off.
Call the shop if you want us to double check which triples application you're working on before you order - we'd rather confirm than have you guessing off a part number alone.
Sorry if we got something wrong here. If you think this information isn't correct, .
