AIR FILTER
An air filter from the battery carrier and air filter assembly, cataloged under 70-5262 (also 82-5262, E5262).
This is an air filter listed in the catalog under the BATTERY CARRIER AND AIR FILTERS figure, which places it right alongside the battery box in the area under the seat where the intake tract runs to the carburetor. The part number 70-5262 shows up in our records with an older factory number, 82-5262, so if your parts book or an old invoice lists that number instead, it's the same physical piece.

The catalog entry on this one is brief, and it only turns up in a single listing in our records, so we don't have a lot more to go on beyond its place in that figure. If you're trying to match this to a specific carb setup or airbox arrangement, bring in your old part or a picture of what's currently fitted and we'll work it out at the counter before you order.
