DRAIN PLUG 18TPI LONG -66 (For short use 70-6347)
Long-pattern 18 TPI primary chaincase drain plug, PN 70-4922; use 70-6347 for the short version.
70-4922 is the long-pattern drain plug used on the primary chaincase, made through 1966 per the catalog record. It's a 18 TPI plug that threads into the chaincase to let you drain and check the primary oil without pulling the cover. The book notes a shorter version exists for later use under 70-6347, so if your case takes the short pattern, that's the one you want instead.

This one shows up in the catalog under both the chaincase/chains figure and the crankcase figure, and also carries the older E4922 number if that's what's printed in your parts book. Given the note pointing to a distinct short-pattern replacement, it's worth checking which length your case actually takes before ordering.
It's a small, easy-to-overlook part, but a stripped or leaking drain plug on the primary case is an annoying thing to chase down later, so it's worth having the right one on hand.
