Inlet valve 2 3TA
Intake valve for the Triumph 3TA (and T90) cylinder head, part number 70-3738, legacy number E3738.
This is the intake valve for the 3TA cylinder head, listed in the parts book under the CYLINDER BLOCK AND HEAD figure that covers the 3TA and T90. The legacy number for this same part is E3738, so if your parts book or an old box of spares shows that prefix, it's the identical valve.

The intake valve sits in the head and opens to let the fuel/air charge into the cylinder on the intake stroke, then seals against the seat the rest of the cycle. On these small unit twins the intake and exhaust valves aren't interchangeable with each other, so make sure you're ordering the right one for the position you're working on.
Our catalog only shows this part turning up once, tied to the 3TA and T90 head, so there isn't much more history to add. If you're rebuilding a head and aren't sure which valve position or which of the related part numbers applies to your engine, give us a call before you order and we'll help you sort it out.
