NUT, ROTOR 9/16-20 T100 1957-68
Rotor retaining nut, 9/16-20 thread, for the Triumph T100 crankshaft and alternator rotor assembly.
This is the rotor nut off the crankshaft on Triumph T100 engines, 9/16-20 thread. It's the nut that holds the alternator rotor onto the end of the crank, so it sits right in the crankshaft and connecting rod assembly area of the motor. Small part, but it's got to hold tight since the rotor spins with the crank every time the engine turns over.

The catalog also lists it under the older E3735 number, which is the letter-prefix form you'll see in earlier T100 parts books before Triumph moved to the 70- numbering.
If you're pulling the rotor for inspection or replacing the alternator, this nut is worth having on hand since it's a small item easy to lose track of or damage removing. Confirm your engine matches the T100 fitment shown in the catalog before ordering.
