A US-made phenolic insulating block for 30mm Amal carburetors, .125 thick, brown finish.
This is an insulating block for a 30mm Amal carburetor, made from phenolic (a heat-resistant fiber material) and finished in brown. It's the fully machined version, sized at .125 thick, and it's manufactured here in the USA. The insulating block sits between the carburetor and the manifold or intake stub, keeping engine heat from soaking into the carb body and affecting fuel and air temperature.

The part number carries the size right in it - 30mm - so it's meant for the 30mm Amal carb family, not the smaller or larger bore sizes.
