Exhaust valve guide
Exhaust valve guide for the Triumph 6T and TR6 cylinder head, also listed under the older E2900 number.
70-2900 is the exhaust valve guide used in the cylinder head on the Triumph twins covered in the cylinder block and head figures for the 6T and TR6 range. The guide seats in the head and locates the exhaust valve stem, keeping it running true as it opens and closes so the valve seals correctly against its seat.

This one shows up under the older E2900 number as well, so if your parts book or an old invoice lists E2900, that's the same guide as 70-2900. It's a straightforward wear item — valve guides take a lot of heat cycling and stem friction over the years, and a worn guide can let a valve wander enough to affect the seal and burn a seat.
Our catalog record ties this to the 6T and TR6 cylinder head figures across a run of catalog years, but the exact head and model your bike takes should be confirmed against your own parts book before ordering, since head castings changed over the years these figures cover.
