Cylinder head bolt (3-3/8 in. U.H.)

Outer cylinder head bolt, 3-3/8 in. under the head, used on Triumph 650 twin cylinder heads.

PN · 70-0327

This is a cylinder head bolt for the 650 twin, one of the outer fasteners that clamps the head down onto the barrel. Catalog listings put it at 3-3/8 in. under the head, and it shows up across the CYLINDER BLOCK AND HEAD figures for the 6T, TR6, TR6R, TR6C, T120, and T120R over a run of years, so this is a bolt Triumph used widely on the unit and pre-unit 650 top end. The old book number for this one was E327, and you'll also see it cross-referenced as WW27716 in some records.

Because it's a structural head fastener, condition matters more than most hardware on the bike - check the threads and the shoulder for wear or stretching before reusing an old one, and make sure whatever washer you run under it matches what your engine originally took. These aren't unique to one single model year, so if you're replacing a full set it's worth pulling one out and comparing it against what's already in the head before you order.

Given how many head bolts a 650 top end uses, it's common to buy these in a batch rather than one at a time. Bring the head in or have your old bolt handy if you're not sure which position it came out of.
