TANK BADGE,BSA GOLD STAR
BSA Gold Star tank badge, catalog number 67-8116, superseding the earlier 65-8228B.
This is a tank badge for a BSA Gold Star, not a Triumph part despite how it's filed in some of our records. The description on file is plain and specific: tank badge, BSA Gold Star. It's the emblem that mounts to the petrol tank to identify the model.

Our listing shows this number replacing an older factory number, 65-8228B, so if your parts book or an old invoice shows that number, it's the same badge under a earlier designation. It also carries an alternate catalog form, C270C, which shows up in some cross-reference lists for the same part.
We don't have much more detail on file beyond the description and the number history. If you're matching this against a tank you're restoring, give us a call and we'll help confirm it's the right badge before you order.
