STEERING LOCK GRUB SCREW - Replaces 21-0578
Grub screw for the steering lock assembly, PN 65-5446, replaces the earlier 21-0578.
This is the grub screw used with the steering lock on Triumph and BSA machines, part number 65-5446, listed in the books as the replacement for the earlier 21-0578. It's a small fastener that secures the steering lock in place in the steering head or fork area, so it's not much to look at, but if it's missing or stripped the lock itself can work loose or rattle around.
